

Elkae Resource Group’s Own Honored as 2025 Life Member by Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY — Lemitchel King, a longtime civil servant and social work advocate, was inducted as a 2025 Life Member of the Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City during a ceremony held June 21 at the OKANA Resort.
King, a native of Oklahoma City, has spent more than 25 years in public service, beginning his career as a public affairs specialist in the United States Air Force. He currently serves with the Bureau of Land Management’s Wild Horse and Burro adoption program, while also leading his own social services agency, Elkae Resource Group, LLC.
A recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma as a Master of Social Work (MSW), King has focused his efforts on supporting veterans, seniors, and marginalized communities. Through Elkae Resource Group and its initiative Rage Release by Elkae, he has worked to expand access to critical resources and mental health support across the region.
